Bio

Joanne and her family have lived in the Great Bend area since 1999. She and her husband have been married 21 years and have four grown children and one who is an angel in heaven.


She feels blessed to serve the community and help those in need. Joanne has a background in business and finance however in her 40’s she decided to change her career path to help people in their times of need. She went to work for the Family Crisis Center and started back to college for the second time to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Fort Hays State University in 2015. She went on to complete her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fort Hays State University in 2019 all while running the local Family Crisis Center. Joanne left the Family Crisis Center in 2022 to pursue her dream of helping others. She did her internship and worked at Avenues for Change these past few years until opening a clinic with other practitioners to further meet the community's need of mental health clinics.



Joanne is currently working on a Certification in Couples Therapy. She has experience in work with groups, couples, and teens. Her current client base is individuals, couples, and teens.


Joanne believes if you are committed to change and setting goals for positive forward movement you can have a successful and prosperous life.
